Court: Grandfather gets custody of brothers of baby who died

Whether through a divorce or a violent situation, grandparents' rights need to be respected. In recent news from Texas, the grandfather of a pair of brothers has received temporary custody after their 9-month-old baby brother was found dead in his home. According to the news from Oct. 24, court and police records have shown that there was a history of domestic violence and alcohol abuse with the child's 30-year-old mother.

High-asset divorce probably for two Hollywood celebs

Protecting your assets during a divorce is likely to be one of the first things on your mind, especially if you didn't have a prenuptial agreement with your spouse. Texas residents who have many assets may be the first to want to protect them, since they have much more to lose than the average person, and with some help, you may be able to protect assets that were yours to begin with. The same can probably be said for Hollywood celebrities and reality TV personalities. According to news from Oct. 8, a rumored split between Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner has been confirmed.

Chance of divorce may increase when you make secret purchases

Imagine you have a few items you want to buy; maybe they aren't essential items, but you have been eyeing them for a long time. You have discussed this with your spouse, and he or she thinks it is best to wait a little while before buying these items.

Facebook brings family back together after divorce

Imagine you and your spouse have been married for a while. You've had a couple of kids, and everything seems to be going just fine. After many years of marriage, though, you and your spouse fall on hard times. You are starting to bicker over things that, previously, you never would have thought twice about. After a year or so of trying to work through the tough times, you and your spouse decide it is best for everyone involved to file for divorce.
