Former Texas postal worker says she will divorce Terrell Owens

Falling in love with someone and deciding to get married means you are making a lifetime pledge to stay with that person. For some people, marriage just isn't what they thought it would be, so they file for divorce. For Terrell Owens' wife, thinking that he had ulterior motives for the marriage led her to want to file for divorce after only two weeks.

The woman, who said that they had a secret relationship for five years, claims the former National Football League star was using her for her good credit. She says she is going to file for divorce. She also says the 40-year-old father of four has been her friend for five years and that she tried to help him. The 33-year-old former Texas postal worker says he married her to secure a loan to purchase a $2 million home.

Owens, who has filed for bankruptcy despite his lucrative NFL career, is behind on child support payments and has had to deal with failed investments. It is reported that he went through $80 million by spending it on a lavish lifestyle.

The woman, who says she has already moved out of the home the two shared, said she felt like she was in love. She said she now feels heartbroken and betrayed.

Any divorce is difficult, but when you file for divorce because you feel like you have been used, it can be even more difficult. This woman needs to ensure that her interests are protected during the divorce proceedings. Consulting with a divorce attorney might help her to get the divorce settlement she deserves.
